Hello, I am selfish
12Jul08
There are many things I want in the world right now. Off the top of my head:
- Threadless shirts…namely Dark Side of the Garden, Loch Ness Imposter, Camouflage, You’ve Got Some Splaining To Do, and Training just to name a few. However, buying all five shirts at this moment in time would cost $82, excluding tax + shipping/handling. WOE.
- For U.S./Texas government credit to miraculously show up on my transcript. I am not excited to start summer school on Monday all by myself.
- Speaking of being by myself, I want the ability to make new friends easily
I think I have a communication barrier or something, since I always have anxiety when introducing myself to new people. - TICKETS (+AIRFARE) TO THE BACKSTREET BOYS’ TOUR OMG. They’re not stopping anywhere near Texas (closest is Georgia), but I’ve always wanted to go to one of their concerts…mostly because they probably rank #2 on my favorite bands list. I’m also listening to them on iTunes right now. Yeah, what?
- Speaking of iTunes, I still need to get an iPod to replace the one that died last year. Life without an iPod has been hard. I lack any (compared to a little) motivation to go to the gym and work out without an iPod, because exercising with no music is just no fun. This is bad for me because my fat : muscle ratio has (probably significantly) increased since my iPod died.
- The 3G iPhone!!!!!!! Or actually, any phone that’s cooler than the craptastic one I have right now.
- About 20-30 points to be added on to my IQ so I could be a super duper genius.
But anyways. Today we went out to dinner to celebrate my sister’s birthday this past Wednesday at McCormick and Schmick’s, a restaurant my family grew particularly fond of the last time we were in New York. The menu seemed shorter and more expensive this time around as compared to the time we dined three years ago – the last time we ate there, we were paying for about 7 people, and the bill came out to be $220. Tonight, it was just our family of 4, but the bill came out to be $190. Hmm.
Also, recently I’ve taken up reading the blogs of medical students, residents, and doctors just for fun. The sarcasm in some crack me up.

Oh, Threadless! I think it and I have suffered a bit of a falling out. But I’m glad to see that the shirts on your list are classics
Aren’t we the only state to require “Texas (State) History”… And its government counterpart has been carried over into the university system?!
UH, how much easier is it than pressing the “Add as friend” button? Hahaha jayyyy kay!
I’m so very stuck about the iPhone… the unit price is fine, but I don’t want to play for the plan
Can’t you just be happy with the duper genius that you are now?
I’ve been stalking Threadless a long time, but finally started buying shirts once there was a $10 sale and Dulce Vacaciones was available haha. It only makes me want to buy more
You don’t have to take it do you?!?! Lucky. And I have no clue about that, but it’s pretty freaking lame.
WAY HARDER! I need to grow a backbone!!
How much is it with the plan? I’m stuck in a dilemma because I’d have to buy it unlocked…..and I just saw one on eBay going for over $1k with $70 shipping. Holy shites.
I was never a duper genius! In my dreams maybe.
i think its time for a new entry
